This is my first video demonstrating some of the basic tricks that you can teach to your dog! Hallie is a poodle mix, she is 7 years old and I have had her since she was a puppy. She is the star of this video as she is already well versed in lots of different tricks and games, so she can show you some of the possibilities!
Elsa is a Bearded Collie, she is 10 months old in this video and she has been with me since 8 weeks. With Elsa I am demonstrating and explaining the correct way to teach your puppy (or dog) to sit, followed by Elsa showing the desired result: Sitting correctly on command.
Hallie is demonstrating how to leave something alone. This is less about teaching a trick and more about practising the command with your dog in a safe way. When the time comes that they REALLY need to leave something (for example if chewing a live wire or something nasty out and about) they will know exactly what you want from them.
